ISAPS + QUAD A Global Accreditation Initiative
Advancing Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Worldwide
The Global Accreditation Initiative is a collaboration between the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) and QUAD A.
Together, the initiative gives ISAPS members a pathway to demonstrate that the facilities where they perform procedures have successfully completed an independent QUAD A accreditation process.
ISAPS provides professional membership, education, and expertise in aesthetic plastic surgery.
QUAD A evaluates and accredits surgical facilities based on compliance with international accreditation standards addressing patient safety, facility operations, systems, personnel, and preparedness.
Who Is the Initiative For?
The Global Accreditation Initiative is designed for ISAPS members who perform aesthetic plastic surgery and want the facilities where they practice to demonstrate compliance with QUAD A‘s international accreditation standards.
QUAD A accreditation applies to the facility, not the individual surgeon.

Why Facility Accreditation Matters
A qualified surgeon is one part of a safe surgical environment. The systems, equipment, personnel, emergency preparedness, infection prevention practices, and day-to-day operations of the facility also play an important role in patient safety.
Accreditation with QUAD A evaluates these elements against established international standards and provides an independent assessment of the facility’s compliance.
For ISAPS members, the Global Accreditation Initiative brings together professional commitment and facility accountability within one patient-safety-focused initiative.
ISQua EEA-Backed International Standards
QUAD A‘s international accreditation standards provide a structured framework for evaluating patient safety, facility operations, clinical systems, personnel, and preparedness in surgical settings around the world.
QUAD A‘s International Accreditation Standards Manual is accredited by ISQua EEA, August 2025 to August 2029. This award applies to QUAD A‘s international accreditation standards only.
