QUAD A is proud to announce that Tawnya Brock, a trusted surveyor, has been elected to the Board of Directors for the National Association of Rural Health Clinics (NARHC). Brock’s journey started in direct patient care, where she witnessed the stark realities rural communities face—limited resources, access barriers, and gaps in the system that leave patients vulnerable. Those moments ignited her passion to change the system from the inside out. As a surveyor for the Kentucky Office of the Inspector General and QUAD A—the first and longest-running accreditation program for Rural Health Clinics (RHCs)—Brock verifies that facilities deliver what matters most: safe, effective care for those who need it most.
Her approach is tough but fair. She holds facilities to high standards but understands the practical challenges rural providers face. Brock’s signature line, “The goal isn’t just to pass the next survey; it’s to be ready for the next patient,” says it all. It’s not only about compliance— it’s about commitment to care.
Beyond quality assurance, Brock is a force in shaping rural healthcare policy. As Secretary and Board Member of KY MGMA and a Legislative Committee Member for the Kentucky Rural Health Association, she doesn’t just talk about change—she drives it. Her seat at the table means rural healthcare providers have a voice in key policy decisions that impact their communities.
In her six years as a surveyor with QUAD A and her time with AdventHealth Kentucky, Brock has been on the front lines, guiding rural health clinics through the intricacies of accreditation and operational excellence. Her credentials, including Certified Rural Health Clinic Professional and Healthcare Accreditation Certified Professional, are a reflection of her depth of expertise and her laser-focus on raising standards.
