Dr. Richard Hillyer has been part of the QUAD A team for 14 years, serving as Board Accreditation Committee Chair and sitting on the Education and Quality Assurance Committees. He participates in policy development, board oversight, and reviews accreditation survey results for approval.
Dr. Hillyer holds degrees in Physical Therapy, Healthcare Administration, and earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. A former Army combat medic, he is a lifetime member of the American Physical Therapy Association. He believes that QUAD A accreditation enables Medicare participation for community healthcare providers and ensures compliant facilities with board-certified providers. He also believes that on-site peer review by professional clinicians is critical for ensuring quality public services.
